my much anticipated 2-week vacation has come and gone – and it’s back to work (insert the saddest emoticon that has ever existed)! but at least i have pictures (hundreds of them) that i can look through & relive the adventure that was Thailand. watch out, readers – i’m taking over this week’s posts and giving you a look inside my vacation to Thailand & South Korea!
First up: Bangkok, Thailand
Let me just preface by saying that it was HOT. not the i-wish-i-had-an-iced-beverage hot. more like the my-whole-body-is-on-fire hot. and no thanks to the dress code at the temples, i had to cover up my knees & shoulders at all times. awesome.
Day 1: food market, floating market, & tiger temple

Outfit details:
black maxi dress | target (similar version with stripes here and here)
comfy shoes | crocs (similar here)
dolman top | urban outfitters (similar here)
tribal necklace | h&m
Day 2: Wat Po & Grand Palace
i brought my umbrella for the forecasted rain – but ended up using it to shield myself from the killer sun. yes, that happened. and yes, i am ashamed

i love thai food, but eating hot curry in 95+ degree weather was just not as satisfying as i had hoped…
and of course – could not resist the I <3 Bangkok shirt….and it speaks the truth.

The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art featured a Warhol’s family portrait of the Bechtler family. I’m in the process of commissioning a series for myself. Any takers?
