since the whole exercising thing hasn’t been working out too well (pun intended), i decided to find other ways of staying (semi) fit and feeling energized. enter the banana spinach smoothie. sounds and looks disgusting, but it’s actually really tasty. a delicious snack AND no sweating involved? winning!
i didn’t have any bananas on hand, so i used frozen strawberries instead. it wasn’t as sweet, so i recommend going the banana route:
1 sliced frozen banana
handful (or more if you’d like) of spinach
1 cup of greek yogurt
1 cup of soy milk or almond milk
a few ice cubes
blend them all together and voila! you’ve got yourself a workout in a cup….almost. i know, i know. i’ll start working out – tomorrow 😛
