Don’t be mistaken, I’m 100% pretending like I know what I’m doing in the photos above. Sorry if I tricked you into skimming this post only to find out this is not a post on my ‘haul’ at ULTA. I will easily admit that I know very little about make-up. I’ve talked about it time and time again but I really need to step up my face game, so please provide some recommendations for me!
Instead, this post is a rant on Couponing-Gone-Wrong at ULTA. I’ve been on the hunt for a good new eyeliner for sometime. I’ve tried gel, pencil, pen, and liquid. I’m just not sold yet. So when I received the ULTA coupon – I figured it would be the best chance to try out a new one. Little did I know that the fine print said this Coupon did not apply on ‘Designer Brand’ items. What the heck is a “designer brand” for makeup? Last time I checked, I don’t recall there being ‘ULTA’-generic brand eyeliner. So I tried bringing up 3 different brands that I thought my classify as non designer. Fail. Needless to say, I left ULTA without anything and went to target to buy some Revlon. It’s the principle!
